DuMond Grain is in the process of applying for, and creating a soybean processing plant right in Union Springs, NY. This plant will help stimulate the job economy in Cayuga County by creating a couple dozen full-time jobs. The plant could also reduce transportation costs needed to process soybeans and bring the processing into New York State. We aim to move the project forward over the next few months and will continue construction and expansion in the meantime.
